No, not really – we just want you to help our friends Jonny Rumble win the Toast Of The Coast play-in contest. This Labor Day weekend (Sept. 3-5), the North Coast Music Festival will be showering Union Park with musical goodness. A bunch of bands are competing to get on the bill, and one of those bands is Chicago’s own Jonny Rumble. Their most recent album, JR, is a tuneful, eclectic collection that gets more rotation in my living room than the Lazy Susan. But seriously folks, I saw these guys at Beat Kitchen and they blew my ass out of my ass. It hurt a little, and I was never the same again, but sometimes you just gotta live a little. Right? Right.
