Well, this is interesting: the Brooklyn act Extra Life, currently touring behind their recent sophomore effort Made Flesh, are set to release a remix EP called, eh, Splayed Flesh on June 22, and one of the remixers is none other than Battles frontman (and our personal hero) Tyondai Braxton. You can download the remix of “Head Shrinker” HERE for absolutely no cost, and it’s well worth it: weird, rubbery, robotic, futuristic, slightly danceable -- these are all words that come to mind while the track peels off your face and caresses that smooth skull-bone with trancey accents.
