Stream the new Alkaline Trio single now.
As you most likely already know, AssaultBLOG’s hometown heroes Alkaline Trio are releasing a new record on February 23rd. It’s called This Addiction and Matt Skiba has promised that it’s a return to their “roots.” I’m always skeptical of claims like that, but I just heard the first single (and title track) and it definitely sounds like something that could’ve been released in the From Here To Infirmary/Good Mourning days. And those were very good days indeed.
So click on that picture of the album’s excellent cover art, allow the site to Tweet a promo from your account, and you can listen to “This Addiction” as many times as you want to, for free. I have the day off from my (paying) job, so I probably won’t move from this spot for a few hours. It’s a pretty good song.
